rich and famous could afford to have automatic gates. A Gate Keypad before was considered very high-tech and only
celebrities and affluent businessmen could own one. But now, anyone can afford
to have an electric gate because there are various types available for
different budgets. Naturally, a basic gate would cost lesser than a gigantic
gate. If you only have a small property you can easily afford to have an
electric gate installed.
Electric gate have three basic types:
A swinging gate can be opened via a keypad or remote control. The gate will
swing open in one direction on its hinges to allow entrance to the property.
This is the most popular type of electric gate. It is ideal for a flat surface
with plenty of space and no significant incline. With this type of gate, there
is no need for a complete stop of the vehicle.
The sliding gate can also be opened by keypad or remote control. However, there
is no backward or forward movement of the gate because it will only slide
horizontally to one side. This type is ideal in a mountainous terrain or steep
slope.
Last is the articulated electronic gate. It consists of several small gates and
hinged as one on a rail. This is considered as the least attractive of the
three but is perfect for small spaces.
Automatic gate provide convenience to the homeowner or businessman in the case of
