Instructions / Installation Notes

1. Power off the receiver/control unit before installing the antenna to avoid any risk.

2. Mount the bracket in a location that is high, clear of obstructions (metal sheets, walls), ideally elevated so that the antenna is exposed. Tilt/angle may affect signal.

3. Route the coaxial cable from the antenna to the receiver; avoid sharp bends, keep cable lengths reasonable, and protect from weather / mechanical damage.

4. Connect the whip antenna to the bracket, ensure the whip is firmly secured. Connect the coaxial cable end securely to the receiver’s antenna input.

5. After installation, test the transmitter(s) from various positions to confirm range increase. If still weak, try adjusting antenna orientation or relocating bracket.

6. Ensure all connections are weather-sealed (especially outdoors). Use appropriate conduit or cable glands if needed to prevent moisture ingress.

• Using the antenna kit properly helps maintain reliable signal and can reduce wear from repeated signal failure attempts.

• Warranty typically 1 year; some retailers specify 2 years. Check your local distributor’s terms. 

• Ensure installation complies with local radio / FCC / CE regulations (especially for outdoor RF equipment).

• Avoid placing antenna near high-voltage lines, large metal structures, or sources of strong RF interference.

Recommendations

• If you have multiple transmitters, test each one after installing the antenna to ensure they all benefit equally.

• Place the antenna whip as vertically as possible for best omnidirectional reception.

• If the installation is in freezing or very wet climates, ensure the bracket and connections are rust-free and sealed appropriately.

• Keep the coaxial cable run as short as practical to reduce signal loss.

• For very long cable runs, consider using higher quality coax to avoid signal attenuation.
